With an almost stuffed-animal appearance of a kid’s toy, Call ducks are the cutest of all ducks. Calling Ducks have a small beak, large eyes in a rounded head and a plump, rounded body. Call ducks are particularly friendly and make excellent pets. Most poultry historians think they were developed in northern Europe in the seventeenth century, though some think that the Europeans may of brought initial breeding stock from Japan or China. Calling Ducks are known for calling to other ducks; they were originally tethered near a hunter and used to lure wild ducks. provided you have enough space that their calls won’t upset your neighbours! This birds are lively and social and do well in confined spaces and mix well with other ducks.
